Be Different!
Just returned from a conference where there was a lot of discussion on buying local. Nearly everyone understands those dollars typically remain local dollars and are shared/re-spent/donated back into the programs and communities that support that same business. Exactly the philosphy that has guided us at CFpromo/I29 Sports for nearly three decades! Otherwise those funds end up going to a shareholder in France or their corporate or international headquarters based in Texas or the United Kingdom or other. The tougher part of the conversation is how a small business stays price and product competitive with a larger operation that isn't local. Shouting Buy Local from the rooftops is not a strategy.
